Margareth has over 20 years of experience, 13 of which were spent in-house in Brazil, specializing in preemptive legal support in Corporate Criminal Law, Civil Liability, Consumer and Elderly Relations, Regulation and Competition, and Management in the Health Insurance market. With a robust background in managing the Corporate Legal Department, she excels as a Generalist Lawyer.
 

Throughout her career, Margareth has actively participated in and led complex negotiations with healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and the District Attorney’s Office. Her strategic approach extends to utilizing legal tools for effective company management. She has a proven track record in elaborating, analyzing, and reviewing partnerships, business and service contracts, financial agreements, and collaborations with accredited laboratories and hospital medical assistance networks. Additionally, she played a key role in public consultations of normative acts with the Health Regulatory Agency.
 

Margareth also provided crucial legal guidance for HR in disciplinary actions aimed at the termination of employment contracts. Her extensive legal experience positions her as a valuable asset for advising companies engaging in international business, particularly those navigating the intricate legal landscape of Brazil.
 

Margareth began her career in the US at éclat Law, LLP in September 2019. During that time, she demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment to the firm’s growth. Margareth earned the position of Business Manager in March 2020, at which time she became a member of the firm’s management committee. She was promoted to Director of Business Affairs in March 2021 and was invited to become a Partner at the firm in March 2023.
